Reviews

  • “Ned Selfe has taught his pedal steel guitar (!) a whole new set of moves. His melting point sound betrays not a trace of twang… Selfe’s e-bowed sound meshes perfectly with [Paul] Davis’ electric six string.”

    David Gans

    Mix Magazine

  • “Perhaps most noteworthy is the velvety voice of Pearl. Each melody is within confident grasp of her range, with the higher, soaring notes no more reckless than those in her strong lower register.”

    Lawrence Helm

    San Francisco Music Calendar

  • “Robin & the Rocks placed their cards squarely on radio-ready rock & roll.”

    Bonnie Mackinnon

    Music Connection

  • “…it is the fluid, catchy music that carries this LP.”

    BAM Magazine

  • “… Robin Pearl, who is emerging as one of the most talented female singer/songwriters in the Bay Area.”
